This year has really shown the dedication and hard work of our team, a talented pool of now 20 people at smart/tasking. Every year we set ourselves ambitious goals and this year was no different. We’ve faced various challenges head-on, always with real commitment to delivering the best outcomes for our clients. From navigating complex projects to finding innovative solutions, each success reflects the collective effort and expertise that defines our consultancy.

At the heart of our success is our team. They have worked tirelessly to build new, and strengthen old, relationships this year. Our four new apprentices have now been accepted into Henley Business School, beginning in January, and we’re so grateful to have kept three of our original cohort from 2022 (one of whom has also been accepted to start at Henle) who continue to be part of the smart/tasking team. Seeing so many hands shoot up when we asked who was new to the team at our Christmas party recently just shows the growth, we’ve had this year. We’re proud of what we’ve achieved.

  • 21 partner organisations
  • 148 projects delivered
  • 25% productivity increase
  • 55 expert consultants deployed
  • 37% efficiency gains
  • £1.3 million cost savings for our clients
  • 10 new staff with another starting in January
  • 4 new values
  • 1 new tagline…
  • … as well as 1 office move and 1 new PMO dashboard coming in 2024.

We’re excited to launch our new tagline – ‘consider it done’ – which will be woven through all our work as we start 2024. We place huge importance in doing what we say we’ll do. At the same time, we’re a safe pair of hands – confident, assured and reliable. ‘Consider it done’ signifies that the task or issue will be completed successfully and efficiently, without the need for further worry.

We proudly sponsored Farnham Rugby Club again this season and we continue to support ex-armed forces men and women to find work through the Armed Forces Covenant. This shows our commitment to the community in which we work and is part of the legacy we want smart/tasking to have. Community and collaboration remain so important to us. We’ve hosted more great events for our clients and partners this year and are proud to have shared an exciting new service offering at our most recent event which we will be launching in the new year.

So, as we bid farewell to 2023, we want to extend a thank you to everyone that has been part of our journey this year. We’re looking forward to seeing what the new year holds, and we wish you a very happy and festive season!
